Terms of Use — Mignori

Welcome to Mignori (“Mignori”, “the App”).
Mignori is a third-party iOS application that allows users to browse and interact with imageboards running compatible booru software.

By downloading, installing, or using Mignori, you agree to these Terms of Use.
If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Ownership and Relationship to Imageboards

Mignori is not affiliated with any booru, imageboard, community, hosting provider, or website.

All content you access in the App is provided directly by servers that you choose to add.
Mignori:

• does not host content
• does not moderate content
• does not control server behavior
• is not responsible for server availability or policies
• does not own or claim rights over any images, tags, metadata, or posts

All rights belong to the original creators, licensors, or host servers.

2. Intended Use

Mignori is designed exclusively for:

• browsing booru/imageboard content
• searching tags and posts
• saving posts locally within the App
• organizing tag lists and viewing your own curated content

You may not use Mignori to:

• scrape or mass-download content
• automate requests
• bypass server rate limits
• evade bans or restrictions imposed by a server
• perform actions that violate a server’s own rules

If you violate a server’s Terms of Service, the server may take action against you.
Mignori may also restrict features or block usage in severe cases.

3. Local Data Storage

Mignori stores certain information locally on your device, including:

• saved posts (metadata only)
• tag lists and autocomplete data
• server configurations
• settings and appearance preferences
• caching necessary for smooth browsing

Mignori does not:

• sell this data
• upload it to any server we control
• use third-party analytics SDKs

Uninstalling the App will erase locally stored data.

4. Communication With Third-Party Servers

When you add a server to Mignori, the App communicates directly with that server using standard HTTP(S) requests.
This may include transmission of:

• IP address (as with any browser)
• User-Agent string (configurable)
• Cookies (if the server uses them)
• Headers defined by the booru software

These requests occur only between you and the server you are accessing.
Mignori does not intercept, store, or forward these requests.

5. iCloud Sync (Optional)

If enabled, Mignori may use Apple’s CloudKit to sync your:

• saved posts (metadata)
• tag lists
• server configurations
• app preferences

iCloud data is stored in your private iCloud database.
Only you (and anyone with access to your Apple ID) can view it.

Mignori does not store:

• passwords
• access tokens
• login cookies

Credentials are stored exclusively in the device Keychain and never synced.

By using Sync, you agree to Apple’s iCloud and Privacy Policies.

6. In-App Purchases and Payments

Mignori may offer optional features or upgrades via In-App Purchases.

You acknowledge:

• purchases are processed solely by Apple
• Apple’s payment terms and refund policies apply
• Fairese LLC cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases

Some premium content may be hosted on Apple servers or GitHub and downloaded on demand.

7. Widgets and Background Features

If you enable widgets or extensions, you acknowledge:

• widgets may display imageboard metadata
• some widget preferences may be stored locally
• background refresh may occur to update widget content

Widgets do not access:

• credentials
• private or sensitive data
• personal identifying information

8. Acceptable Use and Restrictions

You agree not to:

• send automated requests
• scrape, mass-download, or mirror large volumes of content
• attempt to reverse engineer or modify the App
• distribute or repackage Mignori
• circumvent rate limits imposed by servers
• harass server operators or other users
• add servers that violate the laws of your region

Mignori may disable functionality if abusive or non-intended behavior is detected.

9. Content Responsibility and NSFW Material

Mignori displays content retrieved from servers you choose.
You are solely responsible for the content you access.

Mignori does not:

• host images
• curate content
• filter explicit material
• enforce age restrictions

You agree to follow the laws and regulations of your region regarding adult content.

10. Limitations and No Guarantees

Mignori depends on third-party servers.
We cannot guarantee:

• availability of any booru
• accuracy of metadata
• uptime or reliability
• compatibility with future server versions
• uninterrupted App operation
• future feature availability
• loss-free data storage

Servers or booru software may change without notice, affecting App functionality.

11. Disclaimer of Warranty

Mignori is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind.
Use of the App is at your own risk.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fairese LLC is not liable for:

• data loss
• corrupted local storage
• server-side issues
• inaccurate or inappropriate content
• actions taken by third-party servers
• account restrictions or bans imposed by servers
• damages arising from App usage

13. Termination

We reserve the right to:

• restrict access
• remove features
• disable certain servers
• block usage
• revoke access to Sync

if you violate these Terms, applicable laws, or engage in harmful behavior.

You may terminate your use at any time by uninstalling Mignori.

14. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated periodically.
When they are, the “Last updated” date will reflect the latest version.

Continued use of Mignori after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
